Biography
Alice Wise was imprisoned at the North Carolina Correctional Center for Women in Raleigh and participated in the June 16–19, 1975 prison protest. The Black Panther individually named her among three protest leaders who had been held in solitary confinement for over a month. The report attributed their isolation to retaliation against prisoner organizing. Her original conviction, prison-entry date and eventual release remain unestablished.
