Biography
Alex Zysk was a nineteen-year-old worker arrested while carrying a picket sign during the Detroit Bakers Union Local20 strike against the Fred Miller bakery and retail shops. The May 14 report says police ordered him to wear the sign and stand stiffly in his cell while they cursed and threatened him. The strike began April 20,1928; that strike start is not his individual arrest date. No charge, discharge day, final sentence or complete imprisonment duration is printed.
