Biography
Alex Sambuceto was an organizer of the Bakery Workers Industrial Union during the fifty-five-day strike at Anganosa Bakery, 214 Thompson Street, New York. The November 11, 1932 Daily Worker says he was arrested on a felonious-assault charge and later released on $1,000 bail. The newspaper calls the charge framed up; that characterization is attributed to the source. No exact jail admission, physical discharge date or total custody duration is supplied.
