Biography

Albert Hittock was among unemployed workers arrested after the February 25, 1931 Minneapolis relief demonstration. The Daily Worker of March 4, page 3, says police searched the surrounding districts after the crowd resisted arrests during the demonstration, arrested nine on suspicion of rioting, and obtained February 27 indictments of seven for rioting and inciting to riot. It individually names George Karemchuk, Charles Hittock and Albert Hittock as the three arrested defendants in custody, while four indicted people were not held. The source does not give an individual outcome, sentence or release date.
