Biography
Albert Heder was a defendant in the Newark political prosecutions supported by the International Labor Defense, American Civil Liberties Union and American Association for the Advancement of Atheism. The Daily Worker of September 11, 1930, page 2, in a September 10 dispatch, names this defendant with John Pado, Morris Langer and Edward Childs as scheduled for trial that month. It connects the proceedings to the earlier cases of S. D. Levin and D. W. Graham, in which defense witnesses were excluded because of their religious beliefs. The report does not give this defendant’s specific charge, individual arrest or physical jail dates, conviction, sentence or actual release. The scheduled trial is not treated as a completed proceeding. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/dailyworker/1930/v07-n219-NY-sep-11-1930-DW-LOC.pdf#page=2
