Biography
Abe Bloom was arrested at an anti-Nazi demonstration in Ridgewood, Brooklyn. The Daily Worker of April 11, 1934, page 1, names him among three defendants whose trial was scheduled for that morning in the Ridgewood Court, fifth district, on Catalpa Avenue. The notice establishes the arrest and a scheduled trial, without reporting the charge, verdict, sentence, release or exact custody dates.
