Biography

A. Gross was an IWW member in Centralia, Washington. A. Gross was sentenced to twenty-eight months in prison. He served in McNeil Island Penitentiary from January 26, 1920, to December 1921, soon after which he was deported.

1920s audit: Kohn, American Political Prisoners, page 103, note 143, places the end of Gross's McNeil imprisonment in December 1921, before deportation. The release is month precision, not an exact December 1 date. Unsupported duration totals are cleared.
