Biography
A. C. Searles was an Albany newspaper publisher and reporter active in the Albany Movement. Police arrested him on December 10, 1961 during the confrontation over the white waiting room at the Albany train station. Contemporary newsfilm establishes the arrest but does not establish that Searles was booked into a jail, when he was released or how the case ended.
