Sophie Ross, Bridget Shergalis, Paige Belanger and Calla Walsh were prosecuted following a November 20, 2023 action at Elbit Systems of America in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The protest targeted the defense contractor over its ties to Israel’s military.
Update: On November 14, 2024, all four pleaded guilty to misdemeanor conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Each was ordered to serve 60 days in jail, with additional time deferred or suspended.
The agreement also required restitution, community service and restrictions on approaching Elbit property. Prosecutors put the property damage at approximately $95,645.
