Biography

William Eagles was a Vietnam-era draft resister and attender of Raleigh Meeting. He was imprisoned at Petersburg, Virginia, and released inApril1973.

The December 1, 1972 notice lists Eagles as an attender of Raleigh Meeting still confined at Petersburg Federal Prison because of refusal to cooperate with Selective Service. This confirms his location at the reporting time without establishing a new admission or changing the independently documented later release.
