The roster assigns the administrative classification “Enemy Alien Interned” and lists Muskegon, Michigan as the person’s earlier address. The individually named entry appears on roster sheet 7, row 1, with historical serial stem 8-21-G-1. The table labels Camp McCoy as the place of detention and marks the internment category “Permanently.” That word is an administrative classification in this dated roster, not a measured term or proof of lifelong detention. Its “transferred from” column names Detroit; no transfer day is printed.

May 1, 1942 is the roster’s observation date. It is not entered as a first arrest or admission date. The roster’s civilian-internment classification does not establish guilt, a particular political affiliation, ethnicity, citizenship, birth date or gender. No current imprisonment is inferred from this historical document.

The March 3, 1942 Sixth Corps Area report individually names Walter Kollac among six civilian internees accepted at Camp McCoy from Detroit on January 25, 1942. The February 27 personnel-record transmittal corroborates the identity. This adds an earlier, actual camp-arrival fact to the May 1 roster observation. The transfer receipt is not an initial arrest or first confinement date; no continuous total is calculated.

The INS listed Walter Kollak in custody at Fort Lincoln Internment Camp, Bismarck, North Dakota, as of February 29, 1944. This roster does not establish a transfer date or completed detention duration.
