Biography
Vasiliy Balik was born 1896 in Kiev, Russia (present-day Ukraine). Worked as a laborer. Immigrated to the United States in 1913.
Employee of Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Company, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In August 1919 he joined the Union of Russian Workers and was arrested the following month in Hartford. Deported on the Buford on December 21, 1919.
