Biography

Tyrone Rison participated in the New Afrikan movement and the armed group described in court records as the Family. He was arrested in Georgia on February 8, 1982 in a bank-robbery investigation and remained in jail before agreeing to cooperate with federal investigators. A separate federal prosecution concerned the June 2, 1981 Bronx armored-truck robbery and racketeering. Contemporary government reporting records concurrent twelve- and eight-year sentences in 1983. Exact custody endpoints and subsequent sentence changes remain unverified.

Formal sentence without invented custody endpoints

The original government appendix was fully visually reviewed, including the heading applying to Rison. Nearby FBI wanted photographs identify other people, not Rison. The authorized BOP name lookup returned no record; it neither supplies release nor disproves historic custody.
