Biography
Thomas Quinn was a field representative of the United Electrical Workers cited for contempt of Congress after refusing to answer a House Un-American Activities Committee question about Communist Party membership. He received six months in jail and a $500 fine, but the conviction was reversed on appeal and the Supreme Court directed his acquittal on May 23, 1955. No served term has been found.
