Biography
Tawwab Nkrumah was identified by RNA president Imari Obadele as one of the people arrested with him at the organization’s Jackson office on August 18, 1971. In his1974 first-person account, Obadele reports their habeas-corpus release after six weeks at Parchman. He identifies Nkrumah as Jackson’s minister of defense and says that, after release, he was indicted on state and federal counts but remained at liberty. Those later charges do not establish a second admission. Source: https://www.jstor.org/stable/41065737#page=2
