Biography
Stanley Kawastwich was a National Miners Union member arrested at South Wilkes-Barre Colliery for distributing leaflets during the anthracite strike. The March 26, 1931 Daily Worker reports that both named miners were fined $25 and held for investigation. Their leaflet distribution and union organizing supply the labor-repression context; no individual arrest day or physical release date is provided.
