Biography

Sidney Lori Reid was arrested after recording federal agents taking two people into ICE custody outside the D.C. Jail on July 22, 2025. Federal prosecutors accused Reid of assaulting an agent and held her for two days. Three grand juries declined the felony charge; a jury later acquitted her of the reduced misdemeanor after body-camera footage showed that she had not intentionally struck the agent.
