Biography
Ronald DeRisi of Smithtown, New York was arrested on October 19, 2018 after leaving more than ten threatening voicemail messages for two United States senators over their support for Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court confirmation. He pleaded guilty on February 28, 2019 to threatening to assault and murder federal officials. On June 3, 2019, he was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison and ordered to forfeit two rifles.
