Biography
Robert Dugarm was an Attica prisoner prosecuted over the September 1971 prison rebellion. Attica News identified him individually among three prisoners tried for assaulting and coercing guards barricaded in an office. The three were acquitted on June 19, 1975. A contemporary May 1975 report records the December 1972 indictment and the earlier dismissal of kidnapping and unlawful-imprisonment counts. These accounts establish actual prison custody during the rebellion, but do not establish his original admission, total time served, or actual release date.
The March 1973 Attica News roster prints Robert Dugarm among the uprising prisoner defendants, linked to indictment 10: kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, coercion and assault. The table lists maximum statutory exposure, not sentences actually imposed or time served; no custody dates or duration are inferred.
