Biography

Wife of José Ñin Negrón, detained while heavily pregnant to pressure him to surrender during the 1950 uprising. In testimony quoted by the thesis, she describes confinement in a locked room at Santurce municipal hospital under police guard and giving birth there on November 7. She was allowed out after her husband surrendered, which the thesis dates November 10,1950; she did not herself recall her discharge date, so no precise gate date is asserted.
