Biography
Paul Novick was the longtime editor of the Yiddish-language daily Morning Freiheit. On August 25, 1953 the federal government filed a civil suit seeking to revoke his citizenship, alleging that he had concealed Communist Party membership when he was naturalized in 1927. The reviewed record establishes a civil denaturalization proceeding but no arrest or confinement.
