Biography
One of the 'Smyrna 7' brothers at the Delaware Correctional Center who, per the defense committee in The Black Panther Vol. 15 no.29 (1976), were forced to plead guilty to escape charges amid what it called racist and inhumane treatment.
The Smyrna Seven defense committee’s October 1976 letter individually names Oscar Jordan among four men it says were forced to plead guilty to escape-related charges after being denied an opportunity to present their defense. It describes the prosecution as retaliation for prisoners’ political beliefs and efforts to expose prison conditions.
