Biography
Named among four Toledo pickets arrested May 7, 1934 for deliberately defying Judge Stuart’s Auto-Lite/Bingham anti-picketing injunction. Attorney Edward Lamb secured bail. The May 11 hearing account says they were found guilty of contempt but no penalty was imposed because of a misconception; the parallel chronology calls the result dismissal, a wording discrepancy retained. Neither wording is treated as a new physical release day. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/etol/newspape/laboraction-cpla/v2n10-jun-01-1934-LA-Muste.pdf#page=3
