Biography
Nick Mottern is a Vietnam-era Navy veteran, journalist, and anti-drone organizer based in New York. He co-coordinates Ban Killer Drones, serves on the national board of Veterans for Peace, and organizes the Merchants of Death War Crimes Tribunal. Police arrested him during an April 8, 2026 protest at Holloman Air Force Base and released him after processing because of a medical condition; the charge was conditionally dismissed in May.
