Biography
Nick Economos was an unemployed worker visiting McKeesport from New York. The Daily Worker of September 8, 1930, page 2, reports that he was caught in police action against the September 1 workers’ demonstration and fined $15 and costs or thirty days. The report describes him as merely visiting and supplies no formal charge, proof that he served the alternative sentence, or actual discharge day.
