Biography

Nathan R. Adler, reported aged 19 and a Young Workers League member, was arrested June 15, 1928, during City College students’ anti-militarist protest connected with Gerson’s expulsion. The June 21 account reports the hearing before Magistrate Stern at Morrisania postponed. A later hearing does not establish continuous six-day custody.
