Biography
Muhammad Hamid Khalil Salah, 51, was indicted August 19, 2004 in Chicago for HAMAS recruitment / material support / racketeering conspiracy. 21 months federal prison.
The February 1, 2007 jury acquitted Salah of aiding terrorists but convicted him of obstruction; Judge Amy St. Eve imposed 21 months.
The documented case chronology records custody endpoint April 10, 2009. Time outside prison before the 2007 sentence prevents treating the earlier case-start date as one uninterrupted prison period. Earlier Israeli imprisonment was a separate foreign stage.
