Biography

Morris Sigman was an International Ladies Garment Workers Union union secretary-treasurer detained in the prosecution arising from Herman Liebowitz’s death during the 1910 New York cloakmakers’ strike. He was acquitted at the end of the trial. He later served as ILGWU president from 1923 to 1928.
