Biography

Morris Birnbaum was jailed with William T. Murdoch in the Bethlehem textile-strike prosecution from May 4 until their completed release on May 7, 1929. The May 9 report establishes three elapsed days for this particular detention. It describes mistreatment while held; that account is attributed to the newspaper. Organizational titles in the article have ambiguous apposition and are not assigned to Birnbaum.
