Biography

Mike Stanovich was arrested while speaking or carrying an antiwar banner at the National Tube Company demonstration in McKeesport on August 1, 1929. The August 2 dispatch names him with Samuel A. Herman and Gust Mikados. A separate regional report says the ILD had bailed out all the arrested workers by August 2, without establishing Stanovich’s exact discharge or complete duration.
