Biography

The Portland report said police raided the Workers Center at 312 Worcester Building on September 9, 1930 and arrested sixteen people attending a Communist Party meeting or reading in the hall. These eight were the second named group, held on vagrancy charges rather than the separate immigration-investigation group. No release date was given.
