Biography
Mickael Gedlu, age 36, a former Marine Corps service member, was indicted in 2019 for threats against the President. Detained in Dallas in May 2018 carrying a Kill Trump sign 30 minutes before then-President Trumps arrival at the Adolphus Hotel; admitted YouTube posts including I am waiting for Trump to visit Dallas before I attempt to assassinate him. 18 months federal prison plus 6 additional months for supervised-release violations.
Custody-phase review October 13, 2026: The original DOJ report establishes sentencing on April 24, 2020 and confirms he appeared from FCI Seagoville. The unsupported exact day total derived from a year-precision release has been cleared. The official BOP register lookup currently names Mickael Gedlu, age 42, and reports a June 22, 2026 latest noncustody endpoint. That endpoint has not been substituted for the original case's release: any later revocation/return episodes must first be individually documented. Exact initial release and later custody dates remain unresolved.
