Michael ZinZun was a Black Southern California community activist described by The Black Panther Vol. 14 no.4 (1975) as facing trumped-up assault charges amid a conference exposing police repression; he later co-founded the Coalition Against Police Abuse.
In a correction published on December 19, 1975, Workers Vanguard withdrew its earlier statement that Michael Zinzun was one of the Pasadena Seven arrested on August 21. It clarified that the seven were arrested during an attack on Zinzun’s Pasadena Community Information Center, while the charges against Zinzun arose from earlier police harassment. The correction supplies no replacement arrest date.
