Biography

The Honolulu column describes the union agent leaving Hawaii aboard the Maunakai to face the Portland tanker-strike prosecution. The later Portland column explicitly reports him already jailed in Multnomah County after conviction and a nine-month sentence the preceding week; B. A. Green is his lawyer. Its speculation about good-time reduction to under six months is not actual service. Source: https://archive.ilwu.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/19351227.pdf#page=5
