Biography

The April1933 WorkingWoman strike history names sixteen-year-old Mary Rasefsky and her nineteen-year-old sister Stella among those arrested with their mother during the Canonsburg NationalMinersUnion strike repression. The mother and Stella receive separately stated terms, but none is individually supplied for the younger daughter. This profile represents the daughter only: the article also calls the mother Mary, conflicting with other sources identifying her as Anna. No mother’s eighteen-month or sister’s two-year sentence is copied to the younger Mary.
