Biography

Mary Ann Munroe, secretary-treasurer of United Electrical Workers Local 262, was arrested outside the courtroom after Cambion strike leader Sandi Polaski and student supporter Mark Brier were sentenced in December 1976. The March 25, 1977 Workers Vanguard reports an accusation of threatening a strikebreaker witness and says the Cambion defendants were currently free on bail while their cases were appealed. It does not print Munroe’s individual judicial sentence, exact arrest or physical discharge day, or complete duration.
