Biography
Martin Peter Quigley, an Irish national from Dundalk, was arrested July 12, 1989 in the Boston weapons-export prosecution. A jury convicted him June 18, 1990; Judge A. David Mazzone sentenced him August 20, 1990. The appellate opinion records concurrent terms of sixty, thirty-six and ninety-six months. Contemporary sources distinguish his earlier pretrial detention from the sentencing-era custody. The official federal locator for register 41064-066 reports that he was no longer in BOP custody as of January 15, 1997; that endpoint does not itself establish deportation, completion of supervision, or freedom from another jurisdiction's custody.

Contemporary UPI reporting dates Quigley's arrest July 12, 1989. The August 3 bail report establishes prior detention but not exact admission or discharge. Those unknown endpoints are not replaced with the hearing date.
The original Constitutional Defense Fund flyer distinguishes June 18, 1990 verdict from August 20 sentencing and reports immediate jailing after refusal of appeal bail. The appellate opinion, footnote 23, records concurrent 60-, 36- and 96-month terms, not their sum. Existing overlapping rows now separate the documented 1989 arrest/pretrial episode from later sentence-era custody, without counting the same arrest twice.

The independently documented middle name and existing register number bridge the result to this case. This supersedes the unsupported January 14 day. The 1996 Irish DFA file anticipated a December release while documenting Allenwood custody; that forecast was not actual discharge.
