Biography

Pages 1 and 3's November 10 Lawrence report identifies Martha Stone as an NTWU member and United Front Rank and File Strike Committee picket captain arrested November 9 leading the Arlington mill line. It reports police rough handling, $1,000 bail at the arrest stage and a $100 fine November 10, followed by appeal with $500 bail set. An appeal-bail figure is not proof it was posted, and the fine is not time served. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/dailyworker/1931/v08-n271-NY-nov-11-1931-DW-LOC.pdf
