Biography
A Nationalist from Cidra imprisoned for refusing military registration, Torres Medina spent three years in Tallahassee prison according to the testimony of his widow Paula López cited by Dávila Marichal. He later died fighting in the 1950 uprising; that combat death is not treated as death in this earlier custody episode.
