The Indiana Department of Correction May 2018 parole-review agenda lists Lorenzo Stone, number 10006, at Indiana State Prison for a Lake County murder case with LIFE (OCL). Its February 29, 1976 sentencing entry conflicts with the October 28, 1976 date independently recorded for the same prison number. The agenda is a schedule, not an actual parole or discharge decision; the conflicting date does not replace the established case chronology. Underlying case and date limits
Indiana DOC's public record for 10006, inspected October 12, 2026, identifies Lorenzo Stone and dates the Lake County life sentence October 28, 1976. The original Seventh Circuit opinion, 86 F.3d 712, bridges Lourenzy Stone and Lorenzo L. Stone-Bey and describes the 1976 arrest and pretrial detention. These support year-only custody start, not an exact prison admission. His defense committee's 1995 letter, printed page 7, identifies the same number and discusses anticipated parole eligibility, not actual release. Its approximate duration conflicts with the court chronology and is not used to date admission. Trinity UCC's 2017 prison-ministry appeal, printed page 8, reports earlier parole and a later return to prison, without establishing an exact first discharge. Later parole review dates and the current Discharge status likewise do not supply an actual release day. The original May 2008 parole agenda, physical page 3, corroborates October 28, 1976 sentencing. The May 2018 agenda instead prints February 29, 1976 under Sentenced; this conflicts with the judicial October conviction chronology and is not an admission date. Defense committee’s contemporary prison-organizing account
The signed Lorenzo L. Stone-Bey Legal Defense Committee letter identifies prisoner number 10006 at Michigan City, Indiana. It describes Stone-Bey as imprisoned at seventeen, a first-time offender who spoke out for prisoners’ rights, oppressed people, and against youth violence and human-rights violations. These are the committee’s contemporary descriptions, not new statutory conviction findings or an independently established birthday. Its assertion that the coming December would mark twenty years on a life sentence and parole eligibility is a forecast containing the chronology conflict already documented here: it is not used to back-calculate a December 1975 admission or to assert an actual parole release. The existing separately sourced 1976 case dates remain unchanged. The nearby portrait is explicitly captioned Clara Fraser; it is not a photograph of Stone-Bey.
