Biography
Liane Norman and Molly Rush actually served jail time September 16–22, 1983 rather than paying fines after a Pittsburgh anti-nuclear protest at Westinghouse. The report links their sentence to August 9 arrests and an August 16 disposition. The seven-day sentence and printed endpoints are consistent with inclusive calendar counting; the dates span six elapsed days. The initial arrest is not treated as continuous custody until September.

Actual individually documented custody and anti-nuclear protest relevance are established, not merely arrest or a possible sentence. No demographic attributes, exact vital dates, current custody status or unsupported name expansion are inferred. Earlier arrest, sentence, residential custody, physical jail and projected release are distinguished.
Separate 1983 custody evidence and limits
The earlier River City Campaign item individually names Molly Rush and Liane Norman with Tom Taylor and Michael Cuddy as arrested for defiant trespass at Rockwell in Pittsburgh on March 31, 1983. July 18 was a planned pretrial hearing, not a discharge date or proof of continuous imprisonment. This is a separate action from the August arrests and September jail service already documented by the September issue. No multi-night initial custody or additional counter is inferred from the pending case.
The River City report individually names Liane Norman and Molly Rush/Liane Norman as arrested March 31, 1983 and held on $10,000 bond until actual April 4 release. These four elapsed days are separate from the August arrest and September sentence stay; no bail gap is counted.
