Biography
Kredelle Petway, born about 1941 and later Kredelle Petway Dendy, was arrested with her father, Matthew Petway, and her brother Alphonso Kelly Petway at the Jackson Municipal Airport on July 24, 1961, in the family's Freedom Ride to test the airport facilities. The Civil Rights Digital Library holds her named arrest photograph and an oral history, but does not establish her disposition or release, so those fields are unresolved. Her brother Alphonso has his own record in this database.
