Biography

Juan Jaca Hernández was an Arecibo commander of the Cadets of the Republic. Imprisoned after the 1950 Nationalist uprising, he remained in custody in 1967. His imprisonment lasted about eighteen years, including confinement at La Princesa and Oso Blanco. He was pardoned in December 1968.
