Biography

John Orawiec was the eighth suspect in the 1937 Little Steel strike bombing prosecution in Warren, Ohio. He was captured while working on a ranch near Buffalo, Wyoming, and returned to Ohio. He pleaded guilty with the other defendants on July 31 and received one to twenty years in Ohio State Penitentiary on August 9. The study confirms that the four men receiving penitentiary terms were actually sent there. John Borawiec was a different defendant with a different outcome.
