Biography
John Besich is individually named in the International Labor Defense political-prisoner directory reproduced by Laisve on September 8, 1930, page 5. The row lists a 6 months nominal term, a sentencing year of 1930, and confinement or correspondence location Philadelphia County Jail, Holmesburg, Pennsylvania. The directory explicitly presents its subjects as political prisoners then confined, but its recycled entries are not exact admission dates or measured custody totals. The offense, arrest date, actual release and fuller identity are unresolved.
