Biography

Jesse James Forrey was a Santa Cruz, California protester prosecuted after the September 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. A jury convicted him of first-degree criminal damage to property for a bank-window incident. He maintained his innocence. Contemporary prisoner-support reporting records a four-month jail sentence in September 2009 and release on December 1, 2009. The Minnesota Court of Appeals affirmed his conviction on October 26, 2010. His initial jail admission date remains unverified.

The CRASS support booklet’s printed page 75 individually names Jesse James Forrey’s prisoner-support committee while discussing letters, visits and commissary for people in custody. This corroborates the existing RNC imprisonment; it does not establish another custody spell or exact additional endpoint.
