Biography

The Cairo chronology identifies James Wilson in a June 1970 prosecution over a broken downtown window: an initial hung jury was followed by a guilty retrial. It separately reports his February 12, 1971 arrest over an alleged rifle theft from a federal marshal in Washington, D.C., with reindictment on aggravated-battery and unlawful-possession counts. This Cairo defendant has not been identified with other prisoners of the same name. The United Front of Cairo chronology presents these prosecutions as part of racist repression of Black community organizing. This is the defense publication’s account; it does not establish an individual final discharge or a complete custody duration.
