Biography

Named with Charles Tasker as a Montgomery worker arrested and interrogated about Share Croppers Union secretary Al Jackson’s whereabouts during the 1935 cotton strike. Both were actually freed, taken to the county line and told not to return. The source does not establish this worker as Communist leader James E. Jackson; those identities remain separate.
