Biography

Jack Strivers was a Sacramento City College student, athlete and Black community organizer. A former Black Panther, he participated in the Black Student Union and local outreach programs. He was jailed in May 1970 as one of the Oak Park Four, accused of murder and conspiracy in the death of police officer Bernard Bennett.
