Biography

J. Reissman was a butcher-union picket arrested with two fellow pickets at Pol Roth’s shop, 4113 13th Avenue, Borough Park, on Monday, October 15, 1928, according to the October 18 Daily Worker. It says all three had also been arrested the preceding Thursday, October 11, and were released on $500 bail. These are separate picketing arrests, not an election-meeting case or continuous detention between the dates. Individual release times and complete detention totals are not supplied.
